Sweet Honey will celebrate their 35th Anniversary in the Twin Cities and will offer students, ages 6-21, cultural, educational, and artistic activities. These activities will include workshops, spoken word, poetry and poster art contests, as well as inspiring music performances. The student's work will be honored at Sweet Honey's family and children's concert. All Sweet Honey events are ASL interpreted.
The Sweet Honey In The Rock Project is a unique opportunity to collaborate and celebrate the diverse communities in the Twin Cities. Those who are fortunate enough to attend the performances by Sweet Honey In The Rock will have an enormous impact on their perceptions and beliefs about themselves, their communities, and the power of art.
